After reading your excellent piece, I oddly enough have the most respect for Sinwar (of all the modern actors). He may have been a bloodthirsty psychopath, but he is refreshingly un-neurotic and has a simple clarity of vision: he wants to murder his enemies, conquer their territory and dance on their graves, but still maintain a remnant of slaves who know how to keep the water and electricity flowing. Certainly not historically anomalous and very relatable.

But those guys with the "binational confederation" plan—I'd be afraid to sleep under the same roof as them. This fantastical idea that certain (often otherwise highly intelligent) people seem to be prone to, that humans can be remade into some combo of peaceable bonobo and interchangeable meat widget, is so deranged it seems akin to a psychedelic hallucination.

I think the real insoluble problem here and the real beast we're all afraid of gazing at for too long is unkillable Jew hatred, of the Jews' seemingly eternal role as humanity's scapegoat—hated one generation for being too passive then hated the next generation for being too aggressive, hated one generation for being uninvited guests in other's homes then hated the next generation for having their own state.

But I don't know what dialectic could solve this, short of Jewish erasure, which would then probably result in people finally admiring Jews for their brilliance and for the many gifts they've given the rest of us. As Dara Horn says, People love dead Jews—it's the living ones that someone somewhere is always trying to kill. Oy!

Thanks again
