By chance, or not, Substack took me from this article https://substack.com/home/post/p-193464724 detailing the genetic analyses of Jewish and Palestinian populations to your article.
My University degrees were in biology, even though I have not worked in the field for decades, I am still very interested in developments, especially genetics.
Both articles show the idiocy of condemning Jews as "Settler colonialists." I would always ask those who do so, especially "academics" if they could tell me where our colonial homeland is, where they speak Hebrew and have a similar genetic background. Answer came there none.
A good post, as usual, but sadly the people who need to read this (Palestinians and their supporters) won't. Conversely, Israelis and their supporters will not read debunkings of their ridiculous fables.
"(Male black slaves generally didn’t leave descendants, since they were separated from women or castrated. Middle Eastern Christians, Druze, and Jews weren’t involved in the Muslim slave trade, so they lack equivalent admixture.)"
I don't think this is the real reason at all, it's because these communities were endogamous and hard/impossible to convert to. The same reason Muslims Palestinians have Iranian admixture, but Christians and Druze don't. Sunni Islam, whatever its other faults, is just more racially egalitarian than other religions, and always was, despite having a lot of anti-black racism inherited from its Arab roots.
Endogamy is a factor, but certainly in the case of Christians, Muslim rule also prevented them from converting outsiders. Even Jews attracted more converts prior to the rise of Christianity and Islam. Racial egalitarianism is one way to explain the comparative genetic diversity of Middle Eastern Muslims. Another is that they kept minority religious groups subordinate, which led to a more "frozen" genetic profile. (The Druze are theologically opposed to conversion, so the story is different there.)
The Palestinians are at best indifferent to any statehood of their own; that’s all just a smokescreen. Their only interest is the destruction of Israel.
In the event that should happen, may G-d forfend, what happened to the Viet Cong would happen to the Palestinians, having served their purpose, and for the same reasons. As in that case, some of their leaders will be killed or imprisoned; the bulk of them will be absorbed into triumphant neighbor state(s); insubordinate misfits will be punished as insubordinate misfits are punished in such states; and that will be the end of them.
Was Yusuf Diya Al Khalidi and his “Palestinian” Khalidi clan native to the Levant? They claim to be descendants of one Khalid Ibn Al Walid—who originated in Mecca and conquered Syria and “Palestine.” In fact, the “Palestinian” Rashid Khalidi’s “Palestinian” cousin was named Walid. It’s ironic that “native Palestinians” get their moniker from the name “Palestine” which was a Roman colonizer name.
Very interesting article Ben.

Great article

I’m hoping at least the meme gets put to good use.

Sure, functionally endogamous, not necessarily for doctrinal reasons.

Arabs have zero connection to Abraham, who was Father of the Jews. Arabs weren’t even Arabs until Islam.
